Privacy Policy

Your information.
Handled with care.

This policy explains how Speakers Tribe Global Ltd manages personal information across our website, events, membership activities and communications.

Effective 30 October 2026

1. Who we are

Speakers Tribe Global Ltd (ABN 77 693 860 730) operates Speakers Tribe communities, gatherings, programs and related websites. In this policy, “Speakers Tribe”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Speakers Tribe Global Ltd.

Our principal business location is in Victoria 3107, Australia. You can contact our privacy team at speakerstribe@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • your name, email address, phone number, location and tribe;
  • membership, event registration, ticket, attendance and check-in details;
  • payment and transaction details, although payment card information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored by us;
  • your communication preferences, enquiries and correspondence;
  • survey responses, feedback, testimonials and participation interests;
  • photographs, video or audio from an event where notice or consent has been provided; and
  • technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, website activity and cookie data.

We generally collect information directly from you. We may also receive it from a tribe leader, event partner, referral source, payment provider, social platform or another service you use to interact with us.

3. Why we use your information

We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information to:

  • manage event registrations, tickets, payments, attendance and cancellations;
  • operate membership and local tribe activities;
  • send confirmations, calendar information, event reminders and service messages;
  • send news or promotional communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law;
  • collect feedback, measure event quality and improve our programs;
  • respond to enquiries, requests, complaints and safety concerns;
  • administer our websites, prevent misuse and maintain security;
  • create approved event archives and promotional materials; and
  • meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Where applicable, we rely on your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with law and our legitimate interests in operating and improving Speakers Tribe. You may withdraw consent at any time, although this will not affect earlier lawful processing.

4. Communications and marketing

Operational messages about an event you registered for may be sent by email, SMS or another channel you selected. Promotional messages are sent only where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email, reply STOP to an SMS, or contact us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent essential messages about an active registration or transaction.

5. Who we share information with

We may share relevant information with:

  • authorised Speakers Tribe administrators, board members and local tribe leaders;
  • event venues, facilitators and service partners where required to deliver an event;
  • technology providers that support customer management, website hosting, email, messaging, surveys, analytics and document storage;
  • payment processors, including Stripe;
  • professional advisers, insurers, regulators, law enforcement or courts where required; and
  • another organisation involved in a restructure or transfer of our operations, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Our current systems may include GoHighLevel/LeadConnector, Google Workspace, Stripe and social or communications platforms used for event promotion and delivery. We require service providers to use information only for the services they provide to us.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Overseas processing

Speakers Tribe operates internationally and uses cloud services. Personal information may therefore be accessed or processed in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States and other countries where our communities or service providers operate. Privacy protections may differ between countries. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate contractual or technical safeguards.

7. Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information from loss, misuse, interference and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain appropriate event and membership records, or to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We then delete, de-identify or securely dispose of it where practicable.

8. Cookies and website data

Our websites and embedded services may use essential cookies and similar technologies for security, preferences, registrations, analytics and performance. Where required, we will ask for consent before using non-essential cookies. Browser settings can be used to restrict cookies, although some features may no longer work correctly.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records must be retained where required by law.

To make a request, email speakerstribe@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
